Logo: A bright light is seen as the letters I L L U M I N A T E D fall into place. The perspective changes and the starburst is seen above the word as it leaves the screen. The letters turn black in a neon green border as the words "F I L M C O M P A N Y" appear below.

FX/SFX: The bright light and all the letters falling into place.

Variants:

  • A still version exists.
  • Another still version exists, which is in credit.
  • On the UK DVD of The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Other Stories and the 2002 short film War Game, as the logo finished animating, it then cuts to black as the words "P R E S E N T S" fades in and then fades out.
  • On the French dub to War Game, "P R E S E N T S" is translated into French.

Music/Sounds: An ascending 11-note synth melody with backing brass and a drumroll at the end. Composed by Julian Nott.

Music/Sounds Variants:

  • A low pitched variant exists.
  • Sometimes the end theme of the show is used.
  • On the UK DVD of The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Other Stories, the drumroll is absent at the end.

Availability: Rare for both variants. The low-pitched variant can be seen on NTSC prints of the 2001 film Christmas Carol: The Movie, and the original pitch can be seen on The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Other Stories (mostly due to the logo originating in PAL speed). The still version appears on Little Princess and The Rubbish World of Dave Spud, while the in-credit still appears at the end of the previously mentioned The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Other Stories. Don't expect this to appear on the US DVD of The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Other Stories from Walt Disney Home Entertainment as it cuts straight to the title card after the FBI warning.
