Background

Hwa Kuo Movie Studio was a Taiwanese film production company and studio founded in 1970 by Chow Kim-Kwong. It had a Hong Kong based filming division.

(1972-198?)

Logo: On a white background, we see a white square with a black outline with an H in the center and a triangle on the right of the H to make a K. On the bottom, there are red characters that translate into "Hwa Kuo Movie Studio Presents". There's also text that says Hwa Kuo Movie Studio Ltd. After a few seconds, it's fades into the next section of the logo. We see the same logo on the center, red text in a panorama scope saying "Hwa Kuo Scope", and some more characters on the bottom.

FX/SFX: None, except the fading.

Music/Sounds: A jazz fanfare, which is "Statement 7: Pop Fanfare" by Keith Mansfield.

Availability: Seen on movies from this company, the earliest film being The Showdown from 1972.
