Background

Hughes House Films is the production company of Patrick Hughes.

(November 5, 2010)

Logo: We see footage of a one-story cottage on fire at dusk. The footage then zooms out and turns into a worn, sepia toned photo as "Hughes House Films" appears below it in a white handwritten font.

Technique: The burning house, the transforming into a photo.

Music/Sounds: A serene piano tune accompanied by strings.

Availability: Only seen on the Australian thriller Red Hill.

Legacy: A weird and slightly disturbing concept for a logo.
