Background

This is Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner's production company, founded in 2004. According to Milliner, the company originally couldn't decide on a name, but was later named after the two figured they went to college in an area with a lot of farmland and mills, sometimes hazy.

1st Logo (June 16, 2010-January 20, 2014)

Logo: On a black background, we see a picture of a windpump with a sun behind. Under that is the text "Hazy Mills productions".

Technique: None.

Music/Sounds: None or the ending theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on seasons 1-4 of Hot in Cleveland, the first two seasons of The Soul Man, the first two seasons of Grimm and Hollywood Game Night.


2nd Logo (October 3, 2013-September 2, 2021)

Logo: Same as before, but the windpump is now in CGI on a sunset background as it spins. A black bar fades in as the text from before appears, with "PRODUCTIONS" now in all caps.

Variant: On Q-Force, the logo is next to the Fremulon logo.

Technique: The windpump spinning and the text appearing.

Music/Sounds: A windpump creaking sound or the ending theme of the show. Sometimes, the logo is silent.

Availability: First seen on Sean Saves the World. It also appeared on the last two seasons of Hot in Cleveland, the last three seasons of of The Soul Man, the last four seasons of Grimm, later episodes of Hollywood Game Night, Crowded and Q-Force. Briefly used in tandem with the previous logo.
