Background

HIT Home Entertainment was a short-lived label of Lyrick Studios that released HIT Entertainment material. The name was retired once HIT purchased Lyrick and rebranded their American home distribution arm under the HIT Entertainment name. In 2006, HIT shuttered the unit and instead began distributing its home media releases in North America through 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment and then Lionsgate Home Entertainment.
