Background
Goodyear Movie Company was a film production company, based in Hong Kong.
(197?-1987)
Nicknames: "Cursive Goodyear", "Good (No Shoe) Year", "Good-Year rip-off"
Logo: On a blue starry background, we see the gold script "Goodyear" slowly wiping in as stars sparkle, followed by stacked "MOVIE COMPANY" in ITC Kabel Ultra fading in on the right.
Variants:
- On some movies, the text will zoom out and move the left to make room for Chinese company name in red, wiping in from the left.
- A dark blue version of the normal logo exists.
- A dark blue version with the chinese text also exists as well.
FX/SFX: The script wiping in, the stars.
Music/Sounds: A slightly-shortened version of "Fanfare Showcase No. 2" by Peter Reno and Jack Trombey.
Availability: Rare. Seen on Fearless Hyena and it's some movies.
