Logo: Just the 2nd half of the 1995-2004 Gaumont logo.
Logo: We see the second half of the 1995 Gaumont logo, as the camera zooms in in toward a gold Gaumont daisy in space (with stars shooting forward). It has a cloud of gas revolving around it that quickly transforms into the word "'''Gaumont'''" (written in red). The daisy also turns red. The logo shines afterward.

FX/SFX: The bright flash. A very professional logo.
FX/SFX: Same as the Gaumont logo.

Music/Sounds: The last three notes of Gaumont's 1995 fanfare. The music was a bit lower in the US airing of ''Space Goofs'' on Fox Kids and VHS

Background: Gaumont Multimedia was originally a video game and animation studio division of Gaumont, founded in 1995 by Marc du Pontavice. He left the company in 1999 to found Xilam, and the latter would then purchase the company and it's assets from Gaumont in 2000.

1st Logo (1996-1999)

Nicknames: "The Daisy", "The Daisy in Space"

Logo: Just the 2nd half of the 1995-2004 Gaumont logo.

FX/SFX: Same as the Gaumont logo.

Music/Sounds: The last three notes of Gaumont's 1995 fanfare. The music was a bit lower in the US airing of Space Goofs on Fox Kids and VHS

Availability: The logo can be shown on the animated series Sky Dancers, Dragon Flyz, The Magician, and earlier prints of Season 1 of both Space Goofs and Oggy and the Cockroaches. This does not appear on more recent episodes of the 2 latter shows, instead being replaced by the Xilam logo.

Editor's Note: The fanfare and fast paced nature of the first half may unsettle some, but this is a fantastic logo.

2nd Logo (1997?-2001)

Nicknames: "The Sun Globe"

Logo: We have the 1950's Gaumont "Sun Globe" logo over a space background (styled differently depending on what show). The inscription on the filmstrip also depends on the show.

Variants: The logo may differ depending on the show:

  • Space Goofs: The logo is still, teal, tinted and the filmstrip reads "GAUMONT MULTIMEDIA PRESENTS" (in English) or "GAUMONT MULTIMEDIA PRESENTE" (in French) stacked. The Space Goofs' UFO flies over it, and the logo segues into the opening sequence.
  • Oggy and the Cockroaches: The logo is animated and starts by zooming into the screen. The logo then gets popped like a balloon by Joey (the purple cockroach from the show), making it fly for a while until it hits the screen. The opening sequence starts later.

FX/SFX: It depends on the show.

Music/Sounds: For Space Goofs, the opening theme. For Oggy and the Cockroaches, a bombastic hit is heard which segues into the intro theme.

Availability: Seen on Season 1 of bothSpace Goofs andOggy and the Cockroaches. Later airings of those seasons removes the mention of Gaumont Multimedia and replaces them with Xliam. The globe however remains the same.

Editor's Note: None.

3rd Logo (1998-1999)

Nicknames: "The Daisy II", "The Daisy in Space II". "The Daisy in the Sky"

Logo: It's a still version of the 1995-2011 Gaumont logo, but with "Multimedia" in silver below the Gaumont text.

Variants: The logo may differ depending on the show or video game.

  • The Fifth Element (video game): The logo starts with the main "5th element" symbol, carved into a marble background. The symbol then glows white and flashes, bringing forth the logo stretching in before focusing into place. The logo glows and shines as the background zooms in behind it.
  • The Magician: On a sky blue background, the logo, now fully in gold, swings in from below and zooms out. As it pans down to the opening credits, it flies up and "Presents" fades in.

FX/SFX: Depends on the media.

Music/Sounds: The opening theme of the show/game.

Availability: Used in The Magician and the video game adaptation of The Fifth Element.

Editor's Note: None.
