Background

Beijing-based Galloping Horse (小馬奔騰) was founded by Li Ming (李明) in 1989, and has been expanding its business from film and TV production into the exhibition sector, building theaters in second- and third-tier cities in China. It didn't get an onscreen logo until 2010.

1st Logo (2010-2011)


Visuals: On a sky background with an ocean, a tsunami occurs. A horse appears, and later gallops through the water. After, some steam appears, making the company's logo.

Technique: The horse galloping, the steam, the tsunami, and the company's logo.

Audio: Unknown.

Availability: Only seen on the 2010 film Reign of Assassins.

2nd Logo (2011-2012)


Visuals: On a theme park background, there is a horse, then it switches a screen on a lake, then it switches back, then back again to the lake set, then on a new lake background, then the companies name appears, with a horse on the middle of the chinese company name.

Technique: The horse following,the animations of the humans,the text wiping in.

Audio: Unknown.

Availability: Only seen on the 2011 film Eternal Moment.

3rd Logo (2012-2013)

Visuals: On a white background, there are three horses, then they walk, then the logo forms, which is the same as the last 2 logos.

Technique: The camera.

Audio: Unknown.

Availability: Only seen on the 2012 film Lethal Hostage.

4th Logo (December 3, 2013-)

Visuals: On a 1800's theme,we see ships forming,some men doing archery,then a archer wall,then some people walking on a forest,then some men pointing.During a war,then a plane falling. It changes to Late 1980s. The town turns into a city, then the camera zooms up, revealing the logo.

Technique: The men doing things,the town,turning into a city.

Audio: Unknown.

Availability: It can be seen on films released by this company starting in 2013.
