1st Ident (1990-1992)

Logo: On a space background, we zoom out from a CGI "Fox" logo, which is perched atop the large lettering "KIDS", which is also above the smaller text "NETWORK", which has "panes" above and below it. The entire monolith is a shiny gold and illuminated constantly by two searchlights from the left and right sides of the screen. As we zoom out, the structure rotates from right to left on the screen.

Variants:

  • Sometimes, the ident would be customized for a particular series.
    • Before Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures, for instance, Bill and Ted's time-traveling phone booth would zoom past and through the letter "D" in "KIDS", then land and replace the "I" in "KIDS"; it would then crackle with electricity, causing the logo to flash and Bill and Ted to appear in front, shouting "Excellent!"

Technique: Early 90s CGI.

Music/Sounds: An instrumental variant of the 1990 "It's on Fox!" music.

Availability: Extinct. Was only used as an ID during the infancy of the Fox Kids block.

2nd Ident (1993-1996)

Logo: No real standard ident, just idents patterned after the various bumpers used by FK during the period.

Technique: Varied, though it's mostly 2D Animation.

Music/Sounds: Varied.

Availability: Extinct.

3rd Ident (1997-1999)

Logo: On a white background, we see a black square with the red text "FOX KIDS", where the "X" is in searchlights, along with a black rectangle below. Then the rectangle suddenly moves to reveal red text, making the square, the text, and said rectangle jitter. Then the square stops jittering and "shines". The rectangle stops jittering as well.

Variant: There is also a Hebrew version.

Technique: CGI.

Music/Sounds: A cartoony-like "boing" sound, which echoes.

Availability: Extinct on TV.
