I've been getting DMs and messages on the Discord about some people being unable to login to the site since Miraheze told everyone to change their passwords, throwing up an error that says "There seems to be a problem with your login session; this action has been canceled as a precaution against session hijacking. Please resubmit the form."

The solution that seems to work for everyone I've seen is to clear your browser cache and cookies. If you can't login, clear them.

  • Chrome Desktop
  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click the three vertical dots. ()
  3. Click More tools and then Clear browsing data.
  4. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
  5. Next to Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files, check the boxes.
  6. Click Clear data.

  • Chrome Android
  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app.
  2. At the top right, tap the three vertical dots.
  3. Tap History and then Clear browsing data.
  4. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
  5. Next to Cookies and site data and Cached images and files, check the boxes.
  6. Tap Clear data.

  • Chrome iPhone and iPad
  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Chrome app.
  2. At the bottom, tap the three vertical dots.
  3. Tap History and then Clear browsing data.
  4. Make sure there’s a check mark next to Cookies, Site Data, and Cached Images and Files.
  5. Tap Clear browsing data.

  • Firefox
  1. Click the menu button (it looks like a hamburger or three lines stacked on top of each other) and select Options.
  2. Select the Privacy & Security panel.
  3. In the Cookies and Site Data section, click Clear Data….
  4. Click the Clear button.

  • Safari for Mac
  1. Open Safari
  2. In the menu bar (top left of your screen) click History
  3. At the bottom of the menu, choose Clear History…
  4. Use the drop-down menu to pick what timeframe you want to clear history and cookies from Safari
  5. One last time, click Clear History
  6. Along with clearing your Safari history, this also clears your cookies and cache

Hope this fixes anyone's login issues. If it's not working, please let us know and we'll see if there's any other solutions.
