Hello to our community! Since we got our new domain, the staff have been working on an exciting new project. As you know, our forum on the wiki is a rather janky combination of DPLForum and Pageforms. Of course, there aren't that many other solid options for MediaWiki forums.

So, we came to the conclusion that the best solution to create a proper, solid forum experience for our members is to take a page from the Lost Media Wiki's book and set up our very own dedicated forum site! Join us at https://forums.avid.wiki/.

In a way this takes us back to our roots as a community. The more experienced of us will know that before we even had a wiki, this community was born through the online forums of the late 90s and early 2000s, and now we've re-entered the scene, creating our first official forum site since the original wiki was launched in 2007.

Our new forum contains the best of the existing forum and the server, plus some new additions such as a capture help forum, where users can seek advice on how to go about getting logo captures, and a lost logo hunting forum where users can come together and dedicate their efforts to finding the rarest of rare logos.

Of course, this means the on-wiki forum will be deprecated. We do plan on retaining it as an archive, barring any problems with the extensions it uses.

We are very excited to launch this new side to AVID and hope you enjoy it too!
