Background

This is the vanity plate of Nell Scovell, the creator of Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.

1st Logo (September 27, 1996-January 10, 1997)

Visuals: On a black background is a piece of paper with the words "Finishing the Hat PRODUCTIONS" in a typewriter font.

Technique: A still graphic.

Audio: A peculiar 7-note chime jingle sourced from the opening theme of Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. On the pilot, it's the closing theme.

Availability: Seen on Antenna TV airings, CBS DVD releases, Paramount+ airings, Pluto TV airings, and French broadcasts of early season 1 of Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.

2nd Logo (January 3-May 16, 1997, September 19, 1999)

Visuals: On a white background is a painted picture of a black fedora with a pink flower. Underneath is the stacked text "Finishing the Hat Productions" in a Chinese-styled font.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: The peculiar 7-note chime jingle (sourced from the opening theme of Sabrina, the Teenage Witch) from the last logo. Otherwise, it's the closing theme.

Availability: Seen on reruns of later season 1 episodes of Sabrina, the Teenage Witch on Antenna TV, Paramount+, and Pluto TV and its DVD release from CBS DVD. Also seen on the TV movie Haley Wagner, Star.
