Background

Filmdallas Pictures is a Texan film company that produced films in the mid 1980s.

1st Logo (1986-1988)

Visuals: The logo starts off with a desert in a cloudy sky. The clouds animate, making the setting darker and more like a storm. A small lightning strike from the distance is seen, and after 9 seconds, large lightning strikes at the center of the screen. This creates a silver Bull head with long horns and the company name, also in silver. Finally, the bull and the company name shine.

Variant: There's an extended variant, where the shine lasts longer, and the entirety of the logo is saturated.

Technique: 2D Computer Animation.

Audio: Before the lightning strikes, thunder sounds can be heard. When the lightning strikes, a lightning strike sound can be heard until the last 2 seconds, which abruptly cuts to silence.

Audio Variant: For the mentioned variant, the lightning strike noise fades as Guitar notes are heard.

Availability: Seen in films made by the company, an example being A Subway to the Stars.
