Background

Filmark International Ltd. was a Hong Kong-based film company founded by Thomas Tang in 1974, which had the unusual habit of exclusively producing English-language films. For undisclosed reasons, the company went defunct in 1989.

Logo: On a red background, what appears to be a drawing of a person raising their arms zooms out alongside the text "FILMARK INTERNATIONAL".

Variant: At the beginning of some trailers and movies, the print logo is shown with "PRESENTS" underneath. Robo Vampire and The Jaguar Project have this superimposed over the film's opening scene.

Technique: Cel animation.

Music/Sounds: A triumphant fanfare with tympanies. The variant uses the opening theme of the movie.

Availability: Uncommon. Seen on some Hong Kong English-language films from 1974 to 1989. The normal logo can be seen on Kung Fu Kids Break Away whereas the variant can be found on Robo Vampire and The Jaguar Project.
