Background

Fifth Season (formerly IMG Original Content and Endeavor Content) is a film and television production company that was formed in 2015 as IMG Original Content as a reorganizing of the US branch of IMG Productions. When WME-IMG was changed to Endeavor in late 2017, the division became "Endeavor Content" through a merger with WME Entertainment. In January 2022, the film division was sold a majority stake to South Korean entertainment and retail company CJ ENM. On September 7, 2022, the company rebranded to its current name to distinguish itself from its former parent company, Endeavor.[1]

IMG Original Content

(2016-2018)

Logo: On a black background, we see the three slashes from the IMG logo's "M" lighting up. Then the light shines and wipes in the text "IMG" with "ORIGINAL CONTENT" below the logo. The light shines again as we see the slashes, and then the logo turns silver.

Variants:

  • On films, the logo is enhanced with longer animation, and the text reads "IMG FILMS".
  • On Miss Universe until 2018, the copyright disclaimer is seen below the logo.
  • A still version exists.

Technique: The light moving.

Music/Sounds: A cymbal clash followed by a twinkle.

Music/Sounds Variants:

  • Sometimes, the ending theme of the show/film is used.
  • On 2018 NYC Veterans Day Parade, the music is played with the sounds.
  • On films, the theme is longer.
  • Most of the time, the logo is silent.

Availability: Seen on IMG's original programs, like Steve, Miss Universe pageants, The Wonderful World of Disney, United We Stand: The Ali Summit, the revival of Showtime at the Apollo and Model Squad, among others. The film version is seen on Gleason and Dirty 30.

Endeavor Content

1st Logo (2018)

Logo: On a black background, we see the company name stacked and in white.

Technique: None.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Seen on season 1 of Killing Eve.

2nd Logo (2018-2022)

Logo: The background consists of white lights which is revealed on a gray concrete background, with the name connected to the slashes. The position turns over the camera and the lines then "shrinks" to form the current logo.

Variants:

  • On shows that they produced, the logo is sped-up.
  • A shortened version exists.
  • On shows distributed by this company, the text at the top reads "INTERNATIONAL SALES BY".
  • On Book Club, the animation is different, here we have the same flashing light but it appears on a different background and the same text appears on it, then when the lines connect, the text flashes and the camera positions off-center.
  • A print version of this logo exists.

Technique: The line "shrinking".

Music/Sounds: None or the opening theme.

Availability: Common. It was seen on Endeavor films from the era like Capone and The Informer. It also seen on new seasons of Killing Eve, as well as new shows such as The First, Tokyo Vice, Roar and Nine Perfect Strangers, among others. It also appears shows previously produced by IMG which are Steve and The Wonderful World of Disney.

3rd Logo (2019-2022)

Logo: It starts with a neon blue layer on a white background, which reveals the current Endeavor Content logo on a silver gradient backdrop. The lines then move over as the lines pop up. As it does, it then flashes to reveal the logo from before.

Variants:

  • On Truth Be Told and See, the logo is next to the Chernin Entertainment logo.
  • A shortened version exists.

Technique: The lines moving, the parts of the name popping up.

Music/Sounds: Same as the previous logo.

Availability: Seen on some Endeavor films and TV shows of the time, such as Bill and Ted Face The Music, Pig, Truth Be Told, and See. Used in tandem with the last logo.
