Background
Fiedler/Berlin Productions was a game show production company that was founded in 1982 by Rob(ert) Fiedler and Peter R. Berlin, who were formerly working on a syndicated talk show. Berlin was a writer and Fiedler was a field producer and director.
Logo (December 29, 1986?-November 18, 1994)
Visuals: On a black background, there is a giant solid gold Italicized "B" in 2D with a letter "F" inside the solid that appears to be a cut-out. Underneath the logo, the text says "Fiedler/Berlin" in a medium-sized font and the text "Productions, Inc." all in gold lettering.
Variants:
- On the game show Wordplay, the logo is smaller and underneath the logo there is a co-production logo for Rick Ambrose Television.
- On the game show Treasure Mall, the text "IN ASSOCIATION WITH" is seen above the logo.
- On the game show Trump Card, the Fiedler/Berlin text is on the side of the "B" logo. There is a logo above the Fiedler/Berlin logo for Createl Ltd. There is a line below that separates between the Createl and Fiedler/Berlin logos.
Technique: A shining wipe effect.
Audio: A choir sings with a light four note theme. On Wordplay, it's the end-title theme. On Trump Card, announcer Chuck Reilly announces "Trump Card is a production of Createl Ltd. and Fiedler/Berlin Productions, in association with Telepictures Productions and is distributed by Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution."
