Background

Eagle Pictures is an Italian film distributor founded in the 1980s.

1st Logo (1988?-2005)

Logo: On a grey background the triangle shape shows up and the others coming towards it and are in dark blue to form a eagle then it shines and the words "Eagle Pictures" zooms out.

FX/SFX: The wings flying, "Eagle Pictures" zooming.

Music/Sounds: A descending synthesizer morphing into a majestic held-out orchestral note.

Availability: Uncommon, can be seen in Italian prints of movies, like A Time for Dancing, Along Came a Spider, Sidewalks of New York, Rush Hour 2, Secretary, Changing Lanes, Far from Heaven, Moonlight Mile, Cabin Fever, Darkness, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Saw, The Passion of the Christ, Mindhunters, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and The Interpreter.
