Background

Dualstar Video was the home video division of Dualstar Entertainment and was one of eight subsidiaries that Dualstar operated. It was launched through a deal Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen made with BMG Kidz, the children's label of BMG[1]; the deal also launched Dualstar Records.[2]

Dissatisfied by the BMG deal, the Olsens moved Dualstar Video to WarnerVision Entertainment in 1995[3]; video releases were later handled by Warner Home Video. The label was quietly retired after 2001.

Logo (1996-2001)


Visuals: Same as the 2nd Dualstar Entertainment logo, only "VIDEO" replaces "ENTERTAINMENT GROUP" or "PRODUCTIONS".

Audio: Same as the 2nd Dualstar Entertainment logo.

Availability: Appeared on some Mary-Kate and Ashley video releases between 1996 and 2001, including releases of the direct-to-video series The Adventures of Mary-Kate & Ashley.
