Background

TV Aratu (also known as SBT Bahia), is a television channel with headquarters in Salvador, the capital of the state of Bahia. Since 1997, it is affiliated with SBT.

1st Logo (March 15, 1969-1972)

Logo: On a granite-like background, the text "TV ARATU" on the bottom fades in. At the same time, the background zooms out a little. As this happens, an outlined rooster figure facing to the right zooms onto the screen until every respective animation is complete.

Technique: Motion-controlled animation.

Music/Sounds: When the rooster zooms in, a long rooster crow is heard.

Availability: Extinct.

2nd Logo (1972-1979)

Logo: TBA

A red random shape reaches to the top-right corner, eventually shrinking and forming the TV Aratu logo. Then, a small blue "C" goes to the bottom of the screen, forming the text "Canal 4" and two thin lines above and below it, respectively.

Music/Sounds: A dramatic, brass theme, once again, accompanied with an announcer.
