Background: Television Regional de Chile, or simply know as TVR, is a Chilean regional channel from Santiago. Was created in 1995 by Jose Artemio, originally named as Gran Santiago Television (GSTV) and broadcasting in UHF. On 2000, the channel is adquired by Universidad Nacional Andres Bello, and is renamed as Andres Bello Television (ABT). In 2005, is bought by Optima Producciones, and is rebranded as Television Optima (TVO). By 2006, the channel was named as Mas Canal 22, after being adquired by El Pabellon de la Construccion. In 2011, now adquired by Copesa, is renamed as Mas Vision. After a project failure at trying to launch another more extended channel called 3TV due a economical crisis, the channel is selled to CNC Medios in 2017, which changed the channel name to Canal 22. Finally, in 2018, the channel is rebranded as TVR and changes from frequency, in addition to the expansion of the channel to the Antofagasta region.
