Background

TV Perú is the public television network of Peru. It is the first television station in the country and the one with the greatest national coverage. Since 2010, it officially began its

broadcasts on digital terrestrial television and became the first Peruvian channel to officially use this technology. It is part of the National Institute of Radio and Television of Peru (IRTP) along with other media such as Radio Nacional del Perú and Radio La Crónica AM, which are also owned by the Peruvian Government. Its sister channel, TV Perú Internacional, transmits its signal throughout America, Europe, Asia, Oceania and North Africa.
