Background: Screen Ireland (Fís Éireann) is the national film agency and film funding company of Ireland, established in the 1980s.

Irish Film Board (1997) Nickname: "The Ridge"

Logo: On a dark background, we see a spiral labyrinth made of bluish dust. It is held by two arcs. At the right side, there is the board's name in Irish and below it, the board's name in English.

FX/SFX: None, it's a still logo.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Appeared on I Went Down (1997).

Nickname: "The Ridge II"

Logo: In space, many green boulders zoom in, emitting green light and forming the familiar labyrinth. The background fades and the name appears to the right. This time, two lines come into the action and place themselves below the name. There is a thin white line and a shorter green one.

FX/SFX: The rocks and labyrinth moving.

Music/Sounds: An orchestrated soundtrack.

Availability: Can be found on Intermission and Inside I'm Dancing.

3rd Logo (2004-2007)

Nickname: "The Ridge III"

Logo: The green labyrinth appears spinning extremely close and zooms out. The two lines move in again, and the name letters come from below the screen to take their places.

FX/SFX: The picture zooming out.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Appeared on Isolation and other films.

4th Logo (2007-2018, April 20-December 4, 2019)

Nickname: "Cinema Hall"Irish Film Board (2009)

Logo: We start in a cinema hall full of people and move to the new logo. it has a roughly draft white board with another purple board inside. Then people rise up inside the board. Right to it, we see "ifb", and below "IRISH FILM BOARD". The Irish name is written even below in purple.

FX/SFX: The animation of hall and lights in CGI.

Music/Sounds: An orchestrated soundtrack.

Availability: Seen on many films. Made surprise appearance on Season 1 episodes of Sadie Sparks.
