Background

El Tres TV (LT83 TV) is a local and independent television channel broadcasting in the city of Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina.

Canal 3

1st Bumper (1980-1983)

Visuals: On a zooming black space background, 3 TV screens colored yellow, blue and red appear moving out the screen. Then, a model of the Canal 3 logo at the time (a beige screen with the 3 from the next logo in it) zooms towards the screen while spinning. A red comet also spirals around the logo. After a bit, the words "CANAL 3 ROSARIO" appear orbiting in the Canal 3 logo, with the 3 being the same as the logo. The comet and words then disappear and then transitions to a black background, featuring a TV screen with uneven green, blue, yellow and red stripes. The "3" then rotates onto the TV screen and the words "LT 83 TV CANAL 3 ROSARIO" wipe in below.

Technique: A combination between 2D animation and live-action models.

Audio: A warbly synth tune is heard for about half of the logo before silence, with an announcer for the remaining half.

2nd Bumper (1983-1990)

Visuals: On a space background slowly zooming in, 3 seagulls appear in the top right corner of the screen and fly toward the center. One of the seagulls stops as an abstract "3" and a multicolored tube (in green, blue, yellow, and red in that order, with the green being the largest section) fades in behind it, while the other 2 seagulls fly under the "3" and form the text "LT 83 TV CANAL 3 ROSARIO" below the logo.

Variant: There's a longer version used during its 20th Aniversary. After the announcer mentions all the stations of Canal 3, the channel logo fades and is replaced by the Television Litoral logo from the time. The background is also still during this transition.

Technique: The seagulls flying in and forming the logo. [possible misuse]

Audio: A very relaxing xylophone and piano tune, followed by an female announcer. For the variant, the announcer also mentions the 20th Aniversary and the owner company (Television Litoral S.A.) at the end.

3rd Bumper (1990-1993)

Visuals: On a white background with a glow at the center, a computarised version of the previous TV screen gradually appears. The same "3", but now transparent, lands on the screen, and turns white. Below, the station info appears below.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: Unknown, with an announcer.

4th Bumper (1993-1994)

Visuals: On a brown stone floor, a multicolored polygon appears and moves, while the same "3" from before appear rising from it. The polygon gradually turns in yellow. Once both shapes are in the center of the screen, tilted, below appear the station info in light brown.
