Background: Antena 3 is a broadcaster in Spain that broadcasts nationwide.

1st Logo

(December 25, 1989-1992)

Logo: On a blue/black background with some faint lights glowing. Four or so light blue streaks pass by. Two red "walls" then appear suddenly. This goes farther out from our view as we see curvatures in this structure. Another structure somewhat like this appears from the left. Two dot-like shapes in the same color of the two structures seen before trail their way down. More light streaks are passing by. A red bar then joins the two said structures, and finally the logo (which consists of a lowercase "a" next to a "3") is mostly formed. There is a white light glowing from the logo now, which makes all empty part of the places in the logo white (especially the "3"). "antena 3" then zooms out with trails from below it.

FX/SFX: The formation of the logo along with the background.

Variants: There were short variants of this logo.

Music/Sounds: A proud brass theme with a backbeat. A female chorus sings "Antena 3" at the end.

Availability: Probably extinct. This was most likely used as a startup.

Editor's Note: none. This logo is a favorite of many thanks to animation and effects.
