Background

Dong-ah Motion Picture was a South Korean film company established in 1954 by director Lee Byung-il, a former employee of Nikkatsu who previously also established Myeongbo Film Company during colonial-era Korea.

1st Logo (1956)

Logo: On a stone background, we see a carving depicting a globe with Korea filled in white. A banner encircles the globe, with "DONG-AH" inscribed on it. Below the banner is the inscription "MOTION PICTURE", with "PICTURE" under "MOTION".
