Background

Dong-ah Motion Picture was a South Korean film company established in 1954 by director Lee Byung-il, a former employee of Nikkatsu who previously also established Myeongbo Film Company during colonial-era Korea.

1st Logo (February 11, 1956)

Visuals: On a stone background, there is a carving depicting a globe with Korea filled in white. A banner encircles the globe, with "DONG-AH" inscribed on it. Below the banner is the inscription "MOTION PICTURE", with "PICTURE" under "MOTION".

Technique: A still live-action graphic.

Audio: The opening theme.

Availability: Seen on 시집가는 날 (The Wedding Day).

2nd Logo (October 14, 1958)
