Background
Don Meier, having produced and directed Zoo Parade for NBC from 1950 to 1955, formed his own company to produce educational and entertaining programmes for family viewing. Don Meier Productions produced Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, Watch Mr. Wizard and the occasional film.
