Logo: Same as the Dick Clark "Gold dc" logo, but with "dick clark productions" being replaced by "dick clark video".
Technique: Same as the "Gold dc" logo.
Music/Sounds: It begins with a high pitched synth chord that holds out for 2 seconds, and then is abruptly interrupted by a lower synthesizer drone, as it descends and then crescendos throughout the rest of the logo.
Music/Sounds Trivia: The jingle was later used for the 1989 Dick Clark Productions logo.
Availability: Hard to find. Can be seen on American Bandstand VHS tapes, co-released by Vestron Music Video.
