Background: Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment (DICE) is a Swedish video game developer formed in 1992 (there was also a Canadian unit). In 2004, Electronic Arts struggled to purchase the company, succeeding in October 2006, thus making the company a wholly-owned subsidiary of EA.
