1st Logo (February 14, 2005)

Logo: Many light flashes occur, with red and blue noise, showing deformed "VERTIGO" word until it comes to the black background and "DC COMICS" in red expands below.

FX/SFX: The flickering of colors.

Music/Sounds: Electronic noise.

Availability: Appeared on Constantine game for PS2 and PC.

Editor's Note: None.

2nd Logo (February 18, 2005-April 23, 2010)

Logo: The animation starts after the DC logo dissolves and melts into particles. These particles with some more crows are zoomed into the word "VERTIGO" (which is black but its background is white). Then "DC COMICS" appear below and an outline comes up around the logo.

FX/SFX: The logo transforming and zooming, also produced by Imaginary Forces.

Music/Sounds: The last part of the 2005 DC Comics logo's music, followed by a scary synth theme. Otherwise, it's the opening theme of the movie.

Availability: Normal animation seen only on the Imaginary Forces website. This was also seen only on V for Vendetta as a variant. There are other variants.

Editor's Note: None.

3rd Logo (March 17, 2015-August 1, 2019)

Logo: On a custom background (depending on the show), we see the letters in "VERTIGO" zooming out, with the shadows forming the black box. As they zoom, "FROM DC ENTERTAINMENT" fades in. It then transitions to the Warner Bros. Television logo.

Variants:

  • iZombie: The logo is placed on a dark red brain-patterned background.
  • Lucifier (Pilot): The logo is placed on a dark red background.
  • Lucifier (Seasons 1-4): The logo is placed on a dark red fire background.

FX/SFX: The zooming and the fading, the transition.

Music/Sounds: It varies on shows.

Availability: No longer current. Seen before the Warner Bros. Television logo on iZombie and seasons 1-4 of Lucifer (although seasons 5 and 6 used the 2016 DC Comics logo instead).

Editor's Note: None.
