Background

Comic BomBom was a manga company that was published by Kodansha that was originally formed in 1981, and it was last issued in 2007. The manga played a heavy role in producing the Medabots games for various platforms.

1st Logo (November 28, 1997-December 14, 2001)

Logo: On a white background, we see the red text "ボンボン" with blue stars on "" each, and a yellow bomb with stars in it on "". "ボンボン" also has a red-yellow shadow. Above it is the blue rectangle with the yellow text "コミック" in it, and the pink text "BOMBOM" with a blue star inside the "O".

Variants:

  • On Imagineer's Medarot for SGB, the logo is red outlined.
  • On Imagineer's Medarot 2 for GBC, the logo is orange.
  • On Imagineer's Medarot 3, Medarot 4 and Medarot 5 for GBC, the logo is orange, except for the blue rectangle with the white text "コミック" in it, and the bomb is pink.

2nd Logo (September 7, 2001)

Logo: On a white background, we see the text "ボンボン" from before, this time in cyan, with yellow stars on "" each, and a cyan bomb with stars in it on "", which is angled. Above it is the red rectangle with the yellow text "コミック" in it.
