Daniel Grodnik/Clyde Phillips Productions

(August 10, 1986)

Logo: An in-credit notice, that reads "DANIEL GRODNIK and CLYDE PHILLIPS PRODUCTIONS in association with".

FX/SFX: None, though one airing on HTV in the UK has a quick ease in. Possible error in broadcasting.

Music/Sounds: The closing theme of the movie.

Availability: Seen on the 1986 unsold TV pilot Northstar.

Clyde Phillips Productions

1st Logo (September 2, 1990-May 17, 1992)

Logo: On a gray gradient background, a blue line starts at the top middle of the screen, moves left, and curves down to the middle to make a stylized "C", it stays in the middle briefly and then, when it gets to the right side of the screen, it curves back up to the top middle, where it stays for a split second before turning downward and going through the earlier line, making a stylized "CP" design. "CLYDE PHILLIPS" appears on top and "PRODUCTIONS" appears on the bottom, both in the blue color of the stylized "CP," and after a couple of seconds, "in association with" fades-in below in white. This logo stays on screen through the last bars of the Parker Lewis closing theme as Parker (Corin Nemec) says "Mr. Lewis? Mr. Randall? Mr. Phillips? Hellooooo!".

Trivia: "Mr. Phillips" apparently refers to Clyde Phillips, whose name appears on this vanity card.

FX/SFX: The stylized "CP" forming.

Music/Sounds: The last bars of the closing theme of Parker Lewis Can't Lose.

Availability: Seen on Parker Lewis Can't Lose, excluding most of the 3rd season. Intact on the DVD releases.

2nd Logo (July 16, 1992-June 13, 1993)

Logo: On a colorful background, ripples are seen in the middle of the screen as a blob emerges from it. The blob settles and morphs into the text "CLYDE PHILLIPS" with "P R O D U C T I O N S" under it much smaller. It is separated by a line. "in association with" fades in below.

FX/SFX: The words emerging.

Music/Sounds: A bluesy guitar riff.

Availability: Extremely rare. Appeared on the third season of Parker Lewis (now shortened to that starting with this season), long out of air and released on DVD in Germany by Turbine Medien.

3rd Logo (April 18, 1993)

Logo: Same as the Stephen J. Cannell Productions logo, but it takes place in a different office, Cannell is replaced by Mikey Randall (played by Billy Jayne) and the text now reads "Clyde Phillips Productions". The logo also looks slightly off-model, due to being a parody.

FX/SFX: The words emerging.

Music/Sounds: A reorchestrated version of the Stephen J. Cannell Productions logo theme.

Availability: This was a one-off variant that appeared on the Parker Lewis season 3 episode "Write or Die".

4th Logo (September 8, 1999-April 12, 2000)

Logo: On a black background, a white spotlight occurs, revealing:

CLYDE PHILLIPS
PRODUCTIONS

The spotlight then clears, and then the background turns black.

Variant: On early episodes of the show, the words "in association with" is shown below the logo.

FX/SFX: The spotlight moving.

Music/Sounds: The end theme of the show.

Availability: Extremely rare. It was seen on the short-lived show Get Real.

5th Logo (October 1, 2006-January 9, 2022)

Logo: On a white background is

CLYDE PHILLIPS
PRODUCTIONS

in either dark blue or black.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: The closing theme of show.

Availability: Seen on the first four seasons of Dexter (excluding the pilot), its revival Dexter: New Blood, the last three seasons of Nurse Jackie, and Feed the Beast.
