1st Logo (April 2, 1938-1940's?)

Visuals: On a night background, the company name arranged in a 20th Century Fox-like structure is surrounded with 2 searchlights moving through the logo.

Technique: Cel animation.

Audio: A triumphant fanfare.

Availability: Seen on some newsreel movies during the era. One example is 八百壯士.

2nd Logo (1960's?-1971)

Visuals: On a black background, there is a silhouette of a winged anchor. The logo brightens, revealing the Taiwanese Armed Forces' emblem the company name in Chinese. Then, a sunburst background fades in.

Technique: Possibly live action.

Audio: A Republic of China-British esque "Mechanised Infantry March", which is later used on the BBTV Channel 7 sign on from the 2001.

Availability: Seen on some newsreel movies which can be found on the Chinese Taipei Film Archive (later Taiwan Film Institute) website. Also, it was seen on some feature films produced by the company from the era.

3rd logo (July 18, 1969)

Visuals: On a green background, there is the ROC Armed Forces' emblem from before in color, with the red Chinese text below. The English text "CHINA MOTION PICTURE STUDIO" is in light green.

Technique: A still graphic.

Audio: Same as before.

Availability: Seen only on Storm Over the Yang-Tse River.

4th Logo (1983)

Visuals: Same as 1969 logo, but the background is cyan, the CMPS logo has been changed to a stylized "中製" in a film camera shape, and the Chinese text is different. The English name is also in a white different font, and the Chinese characters (written backwards) are added below the company name. The film is deteriorated making it hard to read the text.

Technique: A still graphic.

Audio: Same as the 1969 and 1st logo from 1960's.

Availabilty: Seen only on the movie The Longest Night (最長的一夜, 1983).

5th Logo (June 1993)

Visuals: On a black background, there is a yellow Hanwei logo and CMPS' new logo (a stylized fil) in purple. Below, the Chinese text reads now "Hanwei Film Co. Presents, a China Motion Picture Studio production" in pink.

Technique: A still graphic.

Audio: None.

Availabilty: Appeared on Top Cool (想飛-傲空神鷹).
