1st Logo (2003-2006)
Visuals: There is a circle made of interchanging white and black bars, which rotates clockwise. Then it strectches, revealing a starry background, folds and continue rotating as a hand fan. The black bar appears with the company name in Russian over it. The fan rotates and makes still on the bar.
Technique: The starry background, the circle/hand fan spinning, the reveal.
Audio: A piano performance.
Availability: On the early DVDs released in Russia.
Legacy: The animation looks ugly with the lack of other colors and can make you dizzy. The segmented hand fan spinning can cause some dizziness. It's not bad for a debut logo, although the concept is quite simple. Also, it is in black and white.
2nd Logo (2006-)
Visuals: On a vivid red background is a vague shadows of a man with red rag, possibly a matador. He's shown from various directions, moving and shattering his rag. Then the rag comes to the screen, rotates, transforming to a white hand fan, and places itself still. A black bar with white word КАРМЕН unfolds, and ВИДЕО below it appears. The logo fades out.
Technique: Moving fabric and man, unfolding fan, appearing box.
Audio: A Spanish kind of music performance with vocals. At the end, there is audible "ahh!"
Availability: Current on Russian DVDs, no chance outside the country.
Legacy: Improved at least, but the computer animation may catch people's attention.
