Background

During 2013-2016, the national cadenas of Venezuela were introduced by the Sistema Bolivariano de Comunicación e Información (Bolivarian Communication and Information System) instead of the national Bolivarian government.

Visuals: This opening consists of two separate sequences:

    • Opening: There is a three color ribbon with the colors of the Venezuelan flag, alongside the word "INDEPEDENCIA" before fading to reveal the same ribbon with the words "REPÚBLICA BOLIVARIANA DE VENEZUELA", before fading to reveal the country's coat of arms while the ribbons attempt to form it. After that, the ribbons travel to the front of the screen with the coat in the background before fading to black.
