Background

Cactus TV was a British television production company that was formed in 1994 by Amanda and Simon Ross. It was originally part of Chrysalis TV Group (later All3Media), but it was split off in 2012 to become an independent production company.

Logo (October 25, 1995-)

Visuals: Superimposed in the credits, or on a black or white background, there is an image of a cactus plant that was repeated several times. Behind it was the word "cactus" in an Eurostile font.

Variants:

  • Sometimes, it shares the screen with other logos.
  • From 1995 to 1999, a byline "A Chrysalis Company" is shown below the logo.
  • From 1999 to 2001, the background is a wallpaper of Chrysalis logos, with the Chrysalis logo is shown below the logo.
  • From 2001 to 2002, the Chrysalis Entertainment logo is shown below the logo.
  • From 2002 to 2004, the Chrysalis TV Group logo is shown below the logo.
  • From 2004 to 2012, the All3Media logo is shown on the bottom right of the logo.
  • Since 2012, the logo has been rendered bylineless, due to Cactus TV becoming an independent production company.

Technique: None.
