Visuals: There is the channel's studios TV antenna, with the logo in the middle of the screen.
Technique: Still/static slide.
Audio: A male announcer saying "CMQ Televisión".
Note: Even after the triumph of the Cuban Revolution and media expropiation, this logo was likely used until May 1962, when the ICR (called ICRT since 1975), the Cuban Broadcasting Institute, was founded by the Cuban government.
2nd Logo (1962-1965)
Visuals: In first slide, there is a dark grey background with a black CRT shape in left side, with a wordmark saying "televisión NACIONAL" in a stylized font, above a map of Cuba with white borders. Then there is another slide (the logo/ID proper) which has a dark background, with a large CMQ logo (CMQ TELEVISION) being at the top of the screen, and the ICR logo (ICR) below it in left side.

Audio: A triumphant sound.
Note: While it is usually misbelieved that CMQ branding was discontinued in May 1962 with the creation of the ICR (Cuban Broadcasting Institute, renamed to ICRT in 1975), actually the CMQ name was still used until 1965, when CMQ was renamed to Canal 6 (Channel 6).
