Not to be confused with Brownstone Productions.

Background

BrownHouse Productions was the production company of singer and actress Whitney Houston and producer Debra Martin Chase, formed in 1995. According to the 2018 documentary film, Whitney, it was originally going to be called "Houston Productions", but Houston decided to name the company after her then-husband Bobby Brown. In 2000, Chase left BrownHouse to form Martin Chase Productions, though Chase continued to work with Houston until Houston's death on February 11, 2012.
