According to the 2018 documentary film, Whitney, it was originally going to be called "Houston Productions", but Houston decided to name the company after her then-husband Bobby Brown. In 2000, Chase left BrownHouse to start her own company Martin Chase Productions, though Chase continued to work with Houston until Houston's death on February 11, 2012. BrownHouse was likely shut down after Houston's divorce from Brown in 2007.

Availability: Rare. Seen on Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella, The Cheetah Girls and its sequel. Don't expect this on the 2001 film The Princess Diaries and its sequel, despite Whitney Houston being involved.
