Background

British Medical Television was an experimental scrambled overnight TV service intended for medical professionals. It has aired health care-related programming during the overnight hours of BBC 1 and 2 between 1989 and 1992, before being replaced by BBC Select.

(1989-1992)

Logo: On a gray background, we see a thick rounded rectangle dark gray border within a diagonal cut in the upper-left corner, with the piece colored red. On the middle is "BMTV", and below is copyright info. There is a ball of light passing by from the start, in which then sildes out.

Technique: CGI.

Music/Sounds: The closing theme.

Availability: Seen after episodes of Good Health.
