Background

Brújula Films S.A. was a Spanish film distributor.

Logo (1970s)

Visuals: On a blue background, a sailboat with a visible reflection which is constantly rippling zooms in. The sailboat and reflection then crossfades to a compass. Its needle moves a bit as a spark of light shines behind it. The compass zooms back as "brujula" in a bicolored (black-and-white) Bauhaus font fades in, with "FILMS,S.A." in black and in Microgramma font underneath "ula". Afterwards, "presenta" in a white Helvetica font fades in below.

Technique: Traditional cel animation.

Audio: A majestic fanfare with futuristic sci-fi sounds, or none.

Availability: Seen on some films distributed by this company such as Tomorrow (1978) and Tiempos de Constitución (1979).
