Background

Blue Underground is an American film production company that produces low-budget, straight-to-DVD horror films. They also distribute low-budget horror films from the 1960s onward. (It should not be mistaken for a UK production company with that same name.) This company was started by cult filmmaker William Lustig.

Nickname: "Blue Roll"

Logo: On a black background, orange-toned pictures of cinema fronts are seen rotating to the left. Over time, it gets more skewed and seems to grow vertically, right before it rotates upwards to reveal the Blue Underground logo, which has "BLUe" in a large light blue font, with "UnDeRGROUnD" in the same font but smaller and in dark blue, rising up. The circle of pictures continue to rotate until they fade to a plain blue color, right as the URL fades in.

FX/SFX: The circle transforming.

Music/Sounds: A psychedelia-like jingle.

Availability: Can be seen on DVDs such as the uncut version of Vampyres and others.
