Background

Billionfold, Inc. is the production company of Butch Hartman, creator of The Fairly OddParents, Danny Phantom, T.U.F.F. Puppy, and Bunsen is a Beast!, all for Nickelodeon.

(April 3, 2004- )

Nicknames: "Butch the Superhero", "The Extending Cape", "Super-Butch", "Spoofed Superman", "BILLION FOOOOOOOOLD! (inc.)"

Logo: On a plain white background with a light teal trapezoid shape, we see a drawing of Butch Hartman as a superhero, wearing a suit that's somewhat similar to Superman's, but purple with black briefs, yellow boots and a cursive red "B" in front of a yellow circle where the "S" is supposed to go. Butch's cape extends out to reveal the words "BILLIONFOLD INC." written on it.

Variant: On Butch Hartman's video of the Nicktoons Unite parody trailer to the 2017 film Justice League, the logo is modified with Butch wearing a different suit, in a style of Superman's suit from the DC Extended Universe films. Also, the background is black, and the trapezoid shape is absent.

FX/SFX: The cape waving, and the cape extending out to reveal "BILLIONFOLD INC." This is animated by Rough Draft Korea.

Music/Sounds: A loud "heroic" fanfare (composed by Guy Moon) accompanied by a chorus loudly singing "BILLIONFOLD!", followed by a Road Runner-like voice uttering "inc!"

Music/Sounds Variants:

  • On The Fairly OddParents episode, "Open Wide & Say Ahhh/Odd Pirates" and A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner!, the ending theme of the show/movie respectively plays over it. Oddly enough, the Latin American Spanish dub of the former actually had the logo's audio, implying the former's case is a post-production error that made it to the broadcast copy.
  • On a French iTunes print of the Danny Phantom episode "Memory Blank" (S02E01), the audio is slightly high toned.
  • Similarly, on the iTunes France print of the said show's episodes "The Ultimate Enemy, Parts 1 and 2", the audio is low pitched.
  • On 2009-2014 airings of Season 6 and later episodes of The Fairly OddParents and Danny Phantom with the split-screen credits, later episodes of Bunsen Is a Beast! episodes with the 2017 Nickelodeon Productions logo and The Fairly OddParents: Fairly Odder, the "Inc!" sound effect has been removed.

Availability: First introduced with Danny Phantom and later incorporated onto post-2008 episodes of The Fairly OddParents. Also appeared on T.U.F.F. Puppy, A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner, A Fairly Odd Christmas, A Fairly Odd Summer, the Nicktoons Unite parody trailer to the 2017 film Justice League, Bunsen Is a Beast!, and HobbyKids Adventures. Currently seen on The Fairly OddParents: Fairly Odder.

Editor's Note: This is a memorable logo for those who have grown up with Butch Hartman's shows, though Hartman's own controversies have tainted the logo for some.
