Background

Barking Dog Studios was founded in 1998 as by ex-Radical Entertainment employees. In 2002, Take-Two Interactive Software purchased the company and renamed it to Rockstar Vancouver.

(September 12, 2000-October 31, 2002)

Logo: The basic design shows a slightly deformed dog with a big head standing and barking. The company's name appears below. There are variants for each game.

Variants:

  • On Homeworld: Cataclysm, the dog appears on a gold ellipse and is lighted by a blue spotlight.
  • On Global Operations, the dog appears on a purple background with a purple frame.
  • On Treasure Planet: Battle at Procyon, the 3D-designed logo is seen on a blue oval with a weak computer grid in the background.

Technique: Depends on the variant.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Appeared on the three games named above.
