Variants:
- During its 25th anniversary celebration in 2016, the logo was inverted with the words appearing in red on a white box and the words "25 YEARS" appearing on the right and "1991-2016" below with confettis in the background. On break bumpers and stings, "1991-2016" didn't appear.
- Since July 15, 2019, "WORLD NEWS" is in the BBC Reith Sans font instead of Gill Sans.
- From April 25, 2022, the 2021 BBC logo replaced the 1997 logo to match with the BBC rebrand.
