Background

Anaconda was the adventure game division of dtp Entertainment AG, launched in 2005. In 2008, Anaconda was shut down and merged into dtp.

(2005-2008)

Nickname: "The Snake"

Logo: On a black background, a white snake passes over. Then, 5 stripes cover the screen vertically. Then, it turns horizontal as it zooms out, and the picture ripples. "ANACONDA" slides in from the right next to the stripes, resembling snake rings. The logo then flashes and blurs out.

FX/SFX: The snake passing over, the stripes forming and zooming out, the rippling.

Music/Sounds: A dramatic synth entry with hiss-like sounds.

Availability: Not very rare in Europe, appears on Overclocked and Undercover. It's more common on German releases, such as Runaway 2 (including the demo version).

Editor's Note: None.
