Background

Aeroplane Productions is a company founded in 2005. The animation department was founded in 2007 and initially partnered with Pilot Studio, participating in making some of the shorts for "The Mountain Of Gems" ("Гора самоцветов") series. Aeroplane Productions also partnered with Animaccord, participating in the episode "One, Two, Three! Light the Christmas Tree!" for the "Masha and the Bear" series. In 2010, it created its most famous project, The Fixies, which still continues to run today, spawning 2 movies based off the franchise. In 2021, the studio was bought by Riki Group (the owners of the Kikoriki franchise).

Logo (December 13, 2010-)

Visuals: On a black background, a crudely-drawn propeller spins and stops. When it stops, the words "АЭР" and "ПЛАН" appears, making the propeller's center look like the "O" letter and creating "АЭРOПЛАН". The words "ПРОДЮСЕРСКАЯ КОМПАНИЯ" ("PRODUCTION COMPANY") appear on the top and the bottom (a la Castle Home Video's 1st logo).

Variants:

  • The logo can be seen in English.
  • On the trailer for the canceled The Fixies prototype film (2008), the English logo is placed on a white background and is a still logo.
  • Since 2021, the words "ПРОДЮСЕРСКАЯ КОМПАНИЯ" are replaced with "студия анимации" ("animation studio").

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: Propeller buzzing.

Availability: It was originally debuted as a print logo in 2008, however, it didn't receive an animated version until 2010. Seen on The Fixies and both of the movies based on the franchise.
